chk out this cool product comparo..

I am really impressed with how well a hand polish came out. I was always under the impression that you pretty much always had to use a random orbital buffer to work a polish in. With a little bit of elbow grease there are some polishes you can use by hand.. chk the link above.. looks like the winner was autoglym polish.

35$ comes with polish, hand glaze, applicators.. not a bad deal. Looks like the polish needs to be applied 5 times for good results... but hey, if you want that super shine w/o using a buffer, expect a work out.

heres a good fyi on buffing using a random orbital buffer..

http://forums.roadfly.com/forums/det...1430487&page=1

sometimes doing it by hand won't get you the results you want, invest in a porter cable..

I should finally have my Porter Cable random orbital buffer tomorrow. I wish I would have gotten one sooner, it makes polishing and waxing SOOOO easy. I get to damn lazy to wax the car by hand.

wax is usually the final step, much easier to apply by hand.. but polishes...much harder to break down!
