Bicycle at Walmart
FRESNO, Calif. (KGO) - Merl Hefferman is proof there really are angels in the Hells Angels.
He and other members of the Fresno chapter of the notorious biker gang waited in line for five days outside a Walmart last week, just so they could buy every single bike that was listed on the company's ad and donate them to charity. The group ended up purchasing over 200 bicycles.
"When a kid runs up and he jumps on this bicycle and he rides around and it's a good toy, " Hefferman said. "It's not a jacket, it's not a glove, it's a bicycle. You ain't got enough money in this station that makes me feel the way I feel when I give these kids these bikes."
